Publishing and domains

Approve an exact release and transport it without changing the website model.

Status means scope.

This page names the current boundary. It does not present future direction or pilot evidence as completed product behavior.

01

Publication lifecycle

The publication is immutable. A destination adapter receives the same exact artifact, so hosting details do not enter the portable content model.

Validate → Freeze source → Build → Checksum
         → Approve → Deploy → Record
02

Safety properties

  • Only an authorized owner approves publication.
  • Approval refers to an exact draft version and checksum.
  • A stale proposal cannot silently overwrite newer work.
  • A failed deployment does not replace the last known-good public release.
  • Restoration creates a new attributable publication.
03

Domains

A hosted website receives a single-label SodaFlex address such as merchant.sodaflex.page and may have customer-owned domains. DNS verification, certificates, canonical host behavior, and real provider operation remain pilot acceptance work.

04

Current evidence boundary

Pilot

Static generation, independent serving, publication records, download, and restoration pass repository tests. Cloudflare/R2 delivery, production DNS and certificates, and sustained real operation must be verified before they are described as proven.
