Limits and roadmap
Where SodaFlex is deliberately incomplete and how the gap may close.
Status means scope.
This page names the current boundary. It does not present future direction or pilot evidence as completed product behavior.
01
The seven material gaps
- A mature visual authoring experience.
- Portable collections and repeatable content.
- A focused integration catalogue.
- More designer capability and a theme ecosystem.
- Real operational proof.
- Mature editorial history.
- Broader media operation.
02
The wider operating-system vision
Over time, shared customer-owned business data may support website, branding, content, search, social, analytics, advertising, enquiries, collaborators, and automations. SodaFlex, a partner, the customer, or approved AI may operate optional services around that shared context.
03
What must remain true
- The website and meaningful source remain portable.
- Services and credentials have visible boundaries.
- Themes and integrations do not become arbitrary executable code in the CMS.
- Human authority, preview, attribution, and restoration survive increased automation.
- A richer product does not quietly recreate the maintenance burden it set out to remove.
04
No delivery theatre
This page describes direction, not a delivery promise. Evidence from real merchants can change the order. Consult Product status for the canonical current boundary.
